The healthy & vegan pancake recipe

For about ten pancakes you will need:

* 1 ripe banana (the darker it is, the more natural sugar it will give)

* 180 ml of vegetable milk (here we have chosen a praline almond milk to add a little delicacy)

* 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil (we chose coconut oil to give a subtle flavor to our pancakes)

* 1 teaspoon of agave syrup

* 120g of flour

* 1 packet of baking powder

In a bowl, mash your banana, add the almond milk, the agave syrup and the tablespoon of vegetable oil, mix.

In another bowl, put the flour and baking powder, mix then gradually incorporate into the first preparation. Mix vigorously.

Let your pancake maker sit for about fifteen minutes.

Cook your pancakes in a very hot pan without adding fat, as soon as small bubbles form on the top of your pancake you can turn it over.

You can taste them plain but with a little agave syrup, a few slices of bananas and walnuts it's even more delicious!

The benefits of agave syrup

Agave syrup is much better than refined sugar. Replacing the sugar with this syrup seems to be very interesting from a nutritional point of view. It contains more minerals and vitamins than refined sugar. It contains in particular potassium, iron, silica or even calcium. Agave syrup is naturally anti-bacterial and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Vegetable milk to replace cow's milk

Although it does not have the same calcium content as the famous cow's milk. It has the advantage of not causing the inconvenience of cow's milk (poor digestion...). It is therefore not a question of eliminating cow's milk from our important diet, especially for children. But avoid consuming foods that excessively can cause adverse effects.

Warning: before adopting a particular diet or removing a food from your diet, consult your doctor.

Naturally flavor your pancakes - Coconut oil to flavor your pancakes
